When it’s time to travel again, where would you like to go first? These Real Housewives are sharing the destinations and trips they’re daydreaming about to inspire your post-quarantine travel plans.
“Scott and I have been wanting to take the Four Seasons Private Jet on one of their month-long vacations that travel the world. We were considering doing our wedding at one of the stops and have friends and family meet us there. The trip we wanted to do would have left around May 4, and we would have been married by now in Japan and on our way to several more destinations, such as Bali. The plane is a Boeing 757 and only holds around 40 guests, and at every stop during that month, you stay at a gorgeous Four Seasons hotel somewhere in the world. It’s like a yacht in the sky! Unfortunately, we couldn’t proceed with our plans. So, the Four Seasons Private Jet trip would definitely be our dream vacation…and who knows maybe our wedding.” –Tinsley Mortimer (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York”)
“I can’t wait to get to New York so my daughter can see her dad. We were separated when New York went on lockdown as the epicenter of the virus. We have been FaceTiming every day, but I can tell she really misses her daddy’s hugs and kisses in person.” –Kenya Moore (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
“Honey, I can’t wait to board a private jet (anyone who will have me and my family) and go to the Palmilla in Cabo for three nights, then straight to Capri to hop on a yacht and cruise the Amalfi coast, for starters how ‘bout that!” –Lisa Rinna (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”)
“I can’t wait to be able to go back and visit my home town of Montecito, California. I got married at The San Ysidro Ranch and now love spending my days by the pool at the Coral Casino. I also have been dreaming of taking my children to the Four Seasons Bora Bora. We recently went for our 10-year anniversary and have wanted to return with our children ever since!” –Kameron Westcott (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Dallas”)
“I was planning on vacationing in Italy this summer with my family, but unfortunately our plans have since changed. I can’t wait to be lounging on the beach in Positano, drinking fabulous cocktails and indulging in pasta and pizza. Positano is such a dreamy and magical place.” –Melissa Gorga (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey”)
“I am dying to take a family vacation to the Maldives! My husband and I went there eight years ago for our honeymoon and stayed at the Huvafen Fushi, and it was the most amazing experience ever! We’re looking forward to taking our three kids there to experience one of the world’s natural wonders and visit other popular nearby areas.” –Monique Samuels (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Potomac”)
“Before the whole COVID-19 lockdown, I was planning a trip back to Amsterdam. I want to stay at the Pulitzer Hotel in the heart of the city; take a private dinner cruise through the endless canals; rent bikes with my daughter Hannah; wander through the charming streets; and get waffles at the famous Van Wonderen Stroopwafels Shop. Hopefully the tulips will still be out when I finally get to go!” –Dorinda Medley (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York”)
“I can’t wait to get back to Miami with my family because it’s truly our happy place. My kids love the Loews Hotel in South Beach because they have a huge open pool, it’s steps from beach and the suites are gorgeous, and our favorite restaurant in the world is Prime 112 on Ocean Drive. South Beach is always just fun, relaxed family time, great food, great drinks and lots of sunshine—all of which I’m dreaming of right now!”–Jackie Goldschneider (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey”)
“I can’t wait to visit the One&Only in Dubai as soon as possible. Me and my husband love the privacy there and going out to all the amazing restaurants in Dubai when we are there.” –Tanya Bardsley (NBCUniversal’s “Real Housewives of Cheshire”)
“I am absolutely most looking forward to traveling back to New York with my kids once it is safe to travel again. I miss my family and friends and can’t believe what they are going through there. I will certainly take the kids to The Museum of Natural History; it’s our favorite! Travis and I will visit our favorite little date spot, Benito One in Little Italy.” –Gina Kirschenheiter (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Orange County”)
“I can’t wait to get on a plane and go back to the Amalfi Coast and walk the streets of Capri! So much of design inspiration for my collections has come from there over the years! I can’t wait to eat pasta as I sit at the Fontalina Beach Club with Joe gazing at the Faraglioni.” –Margaret Josephs (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey”)
“I like to go on a wellness trip after I wrap a season. Usually, I like to go to The Retreat Costa Rica to eat vegetarian; sleep well in the mountains; hike and take yoga. I also love going to Cala de Mar in Ixtapa, Mexico. It’s nestled in the hill on a small island in Mexico. It’s so serene. I have salads and a fresh coconut for lunch by the pool and for breakfast, fresh fruit. It’s heavenly, and each room has its own pool. I love the people. I like to go where I can rejuvenate and eat healthy, as I have a hectic lifestyle in New York City.” –Sonja Morgan (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York”)
“I am married to world-renowned, now-retired military photojournalist, Jeremy Lock, which means we travel quite extensively and frequently to remote places. We prefer a more laid-back and off-the-beaten-path approach. This year we had planned to take what would be my seventeenth or eighteenth trip to Africa, to spend time on an overland trip in Botswana. Previously, I had vacationed at Little Vumbura and Selinda luxury camps in Botswana, but in the last five years we met guide Jaco van der Westhuizen with African Days Safari Company in Namibia who has become a close family friend and has taken us on amazing camping overland trips, which we much prefer. We set up camp in a remote area and let nature and wildlife unfold all around us. That means a den of lions next to our tent or a hyena circling our leftover dinner at night, or even making sure no hippos or elephants are in close proximity when we exit the tents. (That also requires staying in our tent all night for safety; if we must use the bathroom then it’s a coffee can!) This type of African safari is a true safari. If a few weeks of camping gets to be too much for me, then Jaco calls a luxury camp and gets us a room for a night, but that only happened once in the several years we have been camping. This is how we enjoy our favorite travel destination, Africa…one country at a time!” –D’Andra Simmons (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Dallas”)
“I’m just dying to get back to Capri, Italy! I owe my daughter a graduation trip, and we will certainly be heading there as soon as possible. Da Paolino restaurant will be our first stop!” –Sutton Stracke (Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”)
